A few extras from the Club Championship weekend

Day 1 on  Hole 1 - Manolo started off with Birdie, but the curse got him and his round was doomed.  
Putting for Birdie myself and finished the hole with a 6!

Ray Razo birdied the hole but avoided the curse and tied for first on day 1

George Song finished tied 1st on day 1 after taking a triple bogey 8 from 85 yds on his last hole! If he would have just made par…

Nick Rintalan started day 2 with 5 putts after five holes and even par after 6 holes. 

Short but dangerous 15th hole, showed it’s teeth with triple bogeys on day 2 from the leaders Razo and Tropicana

Manolo nearly aces 11 with a shot to within a few inches which also would have awarded him the eagle pot worth $300

Nick Rintalan, a looong hitter who had been playing patiently and steadily dacided to go for it with driver on the last 2 holes and found the trees to finish bogey bogey. Nick finished up 2 strokes behind the winner…if only…

Have you ever had a 2,3,4,5,6,7,8 on the same day? and follow it up adding a 9,10 the next day?? John Gornick claims that feat and a whole lot of fun over the 2 days. 

Ray Razo held off the chasers as he limped in going 7 over par in the last 4 holes! What a round he had going till 16! Razo earned the Club Champion and Sr Club Champion awards with his performance despite having a kitchen accident that cut up his trigger finger. 

Only 5 players shot their handicap or better on day 1 - Rick Nanda, Paul Stupik, Roger Pearce, Scott Hu and  George Song. 

Day 2 had 4 players shoot handicap or better - Rick Nanda, Roger Pearce, Scott Hu and Earl Lee.
